NOTICE: It is with sincere regrets that Travel Leader must cancel all of its WWII Remembrance and Commemorative Tours scheduled for June and September 2008, as well as our New Your Theater Weekends scheduled for March, May & June 2008. (Still want to get away? Our 2008 Queen Mary 2 Cruises remain scheduled!)  

This untimely and unfortunate decision is based upon a personal health development. A few weeks ago, after contracting a severe bout of pneumonia, I was diagnosed with a tumor on the lung and am consequently undergoing chemotherapy and radiation. Please know that the ongoing results of this treatment are extremely encouraging.  My doctor, however, is quite emphatic in advising me that I should not travel or escort tours the remainder of this year.

While it would be possible to operate the tours without my personal involvement, faced with this current situation we decided to postpone our journeys this year rather than modify or diminish the experience in any respect.

Travel Leader, has spent a decade developing its WW II tours, of which we are extremely proud. Our tours are described by everyone as a “remarkable experience.” 

For those of you who were seriously contemplating joining us this year, as well as those who are considering a tour of this type in the future, please don’t despair!  It is our intent to resume our journeys with a return to the front lines next year, 2009! We look forward to your joining us then!

Dates for 2009 will closely match 2008’s intended itinerary.  Information will be made available on this website, as well as in a brochure, when all elements are confirmed.
